Fees
The fees for officiating a marriage ceremony are straight foward. This fee covers the creation of your custom ceremony program which is used to celebrate your unique ceremony, at times I am requested to do a full Spanish translation for which there is no additional charge. After the ceremony I ensure that witnesses sign the marriage license then I secure the marriage license and scan it, them I e-mail a scanned copy to the couple and mail the original to the County Clerks office via USPS within 10 days. My rates are considered average for non-clerical wedding officiants and moderate for clergy in the Central Valley. The average fee for mileage is $30 - $60 depending on driving distance in the Madera/Fresno/Merced areas, for the San Luis Obispo (Pismo Beach) area and the Santa Clara Valley it is already included in the total ceremony fee.
Ceremony Packages:
Please select the wedding package of your choice ONLY AFTER you have called me and I have availability for your wedding day, and we have met and you would like me to solemnize your marriage or service your commitment ceremony. Once you select the package this will immediately reserve your day. You can also reserve your wedding day by paying the deposit fee then payment of remainder balance is due 5 business days before the wedding day (this avoids the discomfort of later trying to receive payment for services rendered) which can be paid by check or money order. Elopement Ceremony Package Selection Fee $150.00
~ Officiated at my home or your place of choice.
~ Pre-written civil service or slightly custom spiritual.
~ Six guests or fewer.

Domestic Partnership and Commitment Ceremony Package Selection Fee $195.00 an additional $33.00 filing fee is required to be paid to Secretary of State. Prices may increase by area.
~ Officiated at my home or your place of choice.
~ Pre-written or custom commitment service ceremony.
~ The Domestic Partnership official form can be supplied by Joy Filled Weddings if required.
~ Notarization of Domestic Partnership (I am a Notary Public for the State of California Commision expires 06/05/2011)
~ Mailing Domestic Partnership to the Secretary of State.

~ Charge for mileage, is included in this Package fee.

Commitment Ceremony Package Selection Fee $180.00
~ Consultation in person or by phone.
~ Officiated in the place of your choice.
~ Custom or pre-written civil, spiritual or religious service and vows.
~ You choose how many guests.
~ Beautiful Wedding Certificate to be provided the day of your wedding.
(This type of ceremony does not require a marriage license because you are not legally getting married. A marriage license does not get filed with the County Clerks office) Couples who want a ceremony but not to legally bind themselves have this option.

Prices are subject to change but once your place your deposit you are guaranteed that price in writting. There is a $65.00 non-refundable in the event you cancel. However, if Joy Filled Weddings cancels then your deposit is returned in full. All other payments are 100% refundable minus the deposit with a 30 day cancelation e-mail request.
